The Seattle Seahawks announced Friday that they have placed DT Jesse Williams on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury.
- The Seahawks also signed LB Marcus Dowtin to a contract and released WR Randall Carroll.
Williams, 23, was a fifth-round selection of the Seahawks in the 2013 NFL draft. He unfortunately suffered a season-ending knee injury last year, so this is a very concerning situation for him moving forward.
Dowtin signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of North Alabama. He has also spent time with the Eagles and Bills since entering the NFL.
