The Seattle Seahawks announced they have signed LB Aaron Smith to a contract.
In correspondence, the Seahawks placed FB Robbie Ouzts on injured reserve. Ouzts missed the last few games of last season with a neck injury and has been sidelined from camp recently with an undisclosed injury.
Ouzts, 23, was a fifth-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2025 draft out of Alabama. He signed a four-year, $4,520,216 rookie deal with a $320,216 signing bonus that will carry a cap number of $1,085,054 in 2026.
In 2025, Ouzts appeared in 12 games for the Seahawks.
