The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have promoted LB Emmanuel Ellerbee to their active roster on Tuesday.
He fills LB Mychal Kendricks‘ roster spot, who was placed on injured reserve earlier today. (NFLTR)
Ellerbee, 21, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Rice back in May. He was among Atlanta’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was claimed off waivers by the Chargers.
Los Angeles elected to cut him loose in October and was claimed by the Seahawks to their active roster. Seattle later waived him and he’s been on and off of their active roster this season.
In 2018, Ellerbee has appeared in five games but has not recorded any statistics.
