The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have officially promoted OT Elijah Nkansah from their practice squad to the active roster and waived WR Malik Turner to make room for him.
Nkansah provides depth for the Seahawks heading into Week 16 given that RG D.J. Fluker (hamstring) and RT Germain Ifedi (groin) are questionable.
Nkansah, 23, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in May. He was among Seattle’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed onto their practice squad once he passed through waivers unclaimed.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
