Aaron Wilson is reporting that the Seahawks have signed G Oday Aboushi to a one-year contract on Friday.
Aboushi, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2013. He spent two years in New York before he was cut loose and later claimed of off waivers by the Texans a few weeks into the 2015 season.
Aboushi played out the final year of his four-year, $2.359 million rookie contract that included a $199,000 signing bonus and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Aboushi appeared in four games for the Texans and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 58 guard out of 72 qualifying players.
