The Seattle Seahawks have signed third-round LB Cody Barton to a four-year rookie contract on Friday, according to his agent.

Barton was the No. 88 overall pick in the third round by the Seahawks out of Utah. The Seahawks traded up with the Vikings to draft him and exchanged the No. 92 and No. 159 for him. Seattle also acquired the No. 209 from Minnesota.
He’s projected to earn a four-year, $3,404,124 rookie contract including an $884,124 signing bonus.
During his college career at Utah, Barton recorded 235 total tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, one interception, 10 pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
