Seahawks Signed G Landon Turner, Placed G Demetrius Knox On Injured Reserve

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed G Landon Turner to their preseason roster and placed G Demetrius Knox on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Turner, 26, signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina back in 2016. After making New Orleansโ€™ active roster his rookie year, they cut him loose coming out of the next preseason and signed him to their practice squad.

The Saints re-signed him to a futures deal but once again waived him coming out of last yearโ€™s preseason. The Vikings signed him to their practice squad but was released in November of 2018.

The Panthers added him to their practice shortly after and re-signed him to a futures contract, but was waived in May with a non-football illness designation.

In 2016, Turner appeared in seven games for the Saints and started one game.
