Seahawks Signed G Landon Turner, Placed G Demetrius Knox On Injured Reserve

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed G Landon Turner to their preseason roster and placed G Demetrius Knox on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Turner, 26, signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina back in 2016. After making New Orleans’ active roster his rookie year, they cut him loose coming out of the next preseason and signed him to their practice squad.

The Saints re-signed him to a futures deal but once again waived him coming out of last year’s preseason. The Vikings signed him to their practice squad but was released in November of 2018.

The Panthers added him to their practice shortly after and re-signed him to a futures contract, but was waived in May with a non-football illness designation.

In 2016, Turner appeared in seven games for the Saints and started one game.
