Ian Rapoport reports that the Seahawks are signing DE Quinton Jefferson off of the Rams’ practice squad on Monday, pending a physical.
Seattle sustained a handful of injuries to defensive linemen last night including DE Cliff Avril, so it makes sense that they would be looking to add some help.
Jefferson, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2016. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Rams.
The Rams waived Jefferson soon after and signed him to their practice squad a few weeks ago.
In 2016, Jefferson appeared in three games and record one tackle and no sacks for the Seahawks.
