Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds reports that the Seahawks have signed LB Tim Williams to their practice squad on Wednesday.
Hereโs the Seahawks updated practice squad:
- T Tommy Champion
- QB Danny Etling
- WR Aaron Fuller
- LB Shaquem Griffin
- DB Gavin Heslop
- DT Cedrick Lattimore
- TE Tyler Mabry
- DB Ryan Neal
- DB Jayson Stanley
- WR Stephen Sullivan
- WR Cody Thompson
- T Chad Wheeler
- WR John Ursua
- DT Demarcus Christmas
- WR Lance Lenoir
- LB Tim Williams
Williams was one of four players who worked out for the Seahawks on Tuesday and it appears as though he was impressive enough to secure a practice squad deal.
Williams, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2017. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.39 million contract when the Ravens waived him last year.
Green Bay claimed Williams off waivers but later cut him and added him to the practice squad. Williams re-signed to a futures deal for 2020 but was waived coming out training camp.
In 2019, Williams appeared in four games for the Ravens and one game for the Packers, recording two tackles and no sacks.
