Seahawks Tried Out 4 Players Including OL Julian Vandervelde

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Seahawks tried out four players including OL Julian Vandervelde, LB Curtis Grant, Ian Joseph, and DL Zach Thompson on Wednesday.

Vandervelde, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2011. However, he lasted just over a year with the team before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Buccaneers.

Philadelphia signed him to a future/reserve contract in December of last year, but waived him with an injury settlement before the start of the regular season. Since then, he was on and off of their roster several times.

In 2015, Vandervelde was active for two games.
