The Seahawks announced on Tuesday they have waived WR Amara Darboh, signing WRs Nyqwan Murray and Kahlil Lewis in a corresponding move.
Seattle also placed DT Nazair Jones and CB Kalan Reed on injured reserve.
Darboh, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2017. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $3.175 million contract and set to make base salaries of $668,000.
The Seahawks waived him coming out of the preseason as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players and he wound up being claimed by the Patriots. However, he lasted just a week in New England before he was waived with a failed physical designation. His contract was reinstated with Seattle and he reverted to injured reserve.
In 2017, Darboh appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
Murray, 22, participated in the Seahawks rookie minicamp back in May as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State.
He was not signed following the tryout, but showed enough for the team to bring him back during training camp for a few days before he was waived again.
During his four-year college career, Murray caught 127 passes for 1854 yards and 12 touchdowns.
