Seahawks Waiving LB Arthur Brown

Bob Condotta is hearing that the Seahawks are placing LB Arthur Brown on waivers Monday to make room for LB Mike Morgan.

Brown, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens but hasn’t come close to living up to his draft status. Brown was in the final year of his four-year, $3.554 million contract when the Ravens cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jaguars.

Brown’s stay in Jacksonville was limited to just a few weeks, as he was waived and this time claimed by the Jets. Unfortunately, New York moved on from Brown back in December.

The Seahawks signed Brown to a contract this past March.

In 2016, Brown appeared in 14 games and recorded three tackles for the Jaguars and Jets.
