According to Michael-Shawn Dugar, the Seahawks are waiving LB Shaquem Griffin this weekend.
Griffin was one of the more inspirational stories when he was drafted in the fifth round with just one hand in 2018. But now it looks like he’ll need to continue his NFL story somewhere else.
Griffin, 25, was selected with the No. 141 overall pick in the fifth-round by the Seahawks out of UCF. According to OverTheCap.com, he signed a four-year, $2,777,620 contract that includes a $317,620 signing bonus.
In 2019, Griffin appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and recorded three total tackles.
