A league source tells NFLTR that the Chargers hosted UNC LB Cole Holcomb for a pre-draft visit on Monday.
Holcomb has also met with the Saints, Falcons, Chiefs and Cowboys.
Holcomb, 6’1, 235 lbs, originally agreed to walk on at Duke before redshirting at North Carolina and eventually earning a starting role in 2016. He wound up leading UNC in tackles for three straight years.
Holcomb figures to be a mid-to-late round pick in this year’s draft.
During his four-year college career at UNC, Holcomb recorded 327 tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, a recovery and 12 pass defenses.
