The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Monday that they’ve activated C Maurkice Pouncey from the suspended list and placed C Patrick Morris on waivers.
The Steelers will have a two-day roster exemption for Pouncey at which point they’ll need to officially add him to their active roster.
The NFL initially suspended Pouncey three games for his actions in the brawl with the Browns. However, he was later reduced to two games upon appeal.
Pouncey, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010. He was entering the final year of his six-year, $45.49 million contract when he agreed to a three-year, $33 million contract this past March.
In 2019, Pouncey has appeared in 10 games for the Steelers, making 10 starts at center.
