Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall Looking Like A Game Time Decision

ESPN’s John Clayton tweets that RB Rashard Mendenhall returned to practice on Friday in a limited basis and will remain questionable for Sunday’s game against the Titans.

It’s still hard to imagine that he’ll be able to go this weekend but strangers things have happened before. At this point I’d expect to see Issac Redman starting with Jonathan Dwyer as his backup.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette writes that the Steelers aren’t sure if RB Rashard Mendenhall will be able to go in week 5 as he’s been unable to practice because of hamstring injury that he suffered last week.

Backup RB Mewelde Moore has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans which leavesIsaac Redman in line to make his first NFL start.

Dulac mentions that RB John Clay could be added to the teams roster from their practice squad if Mendenhall is unable to play this weekend. We’ll have more updates leading up to Sunday’s game.
