McCullers, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2014. He played out his four-year, $2,298,680 contract with the Steelers before returning to Pittsburgh in 2018 on a one-year agreement.
McCullers was once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent when he signed a two-year, $2.75 million deal with the Steelers. However, Pittsburgh released him on Saturday.
In 2019, McCullers appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and recorded eight total tackles, no sacks and one pass defense.
