The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they have signed second-round pick TE Pat Freiermuth to a four-year rookie contract.

Freiermuth, 22, was a three-year starter at Penn State and was named first-team All-Big Ten in 2020. The Steelers drafted Freiermuth with pick No. 55 overall in the second round.
Freiermuth is expected to sign a four-year deal worth $6,028,180 million with a $1,744,131 signing bonus.
During his college career at Penn State, Freiermuth caught 92 passes for 1,185 yards (12.9 YPC) and 16 touchdowns.
