Steelers Take Rashard Mendenhall And Casey Hampton Off Of PUP List

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers have activated both RB Rashard Mendenhall and NT Casey Hampton from the PUP List.

Both players are coming off of torn ACL’s, which were operated on back in January. In total it will be three Steelers players who return to practice after having had surgery to repair a torn ACL, the third being  OT Max Starks

The overall feeling with Mendenhall is that he has progressed well and although he willl not be rushed  in his recovery, he is expected to be back by Week 5 or 6.
