Tarvaris Jackson Opens OTAs As The Bills No. 1 QB

Bills QB Tarvaris Jackson received the first snaps during the team’s first day of OTAs Monday, according to BuffaloBills.com.

Kevin Kolb was the second man in the team’s rotation with first-round pick E.J. Manuel third.

It’s a little surprising given that Jackson seemed likely to be the team’s No. 3 quarterback after they added both Kolb and Manuel in recent months. It’s hard to put a ton of stock into news from the first day of OTAs, but Buffalo obviously wants to see what Jackson can do before making any major decisions.
