Despite A Torn Bicep, Terrell Suggs Is A Game-Time Decision Sunday?

According to Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs, he is considering himself a game-time decision for Sunday and has no plans on shutting himself down for the remainder of the season, per Jeff Zrebiec.

Suggs came back earlier than expected for a torn Achilles’ he suffered in the offseason, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that he refuses to end his season. Although he claims to be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Redskins, playing through a torn muscle in his arm will be difficult. Suggs realistically has less than a 50-50 chance to play Sunday.

Aaron Wilson reports that Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs‘ second opinion on his injured bicep did in fact reveal that it’s torn.

At this point, it’s hard to say whether or not he’ll be able to play through the injury. Suggs added that “we got to see how it goes.

The Ravens really need to improve their pass rush, so losing Suggs for any period of time isn’t going to help them in this area.

My concern is would I help or hinder the team,” said Suggs.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs has a torn bicep.

The injury was initially reported as an “upper arm injury,” but Schefter adds that the injury is not believed to be season-ending.

Suggs is expected to be out for a few weeks and will seek a second opinion on his bicep in the time being. There’s a chance he could play through the injury, but that will ultimately be determined by the severity of the tear.
