Terrell Suggs Informs Ravens He’s Moving On, Cardinals Possible Landing Spot

Jason La Canfora reports that veteran OLB Terrell Suggs has informed the Ravens that he will be moving on to another team.

La Canfora says that some of his teammates have mentioned the Cardinals as a possible landing spot.

Prior reports mentioned that possibility of Suggs departing for a deal with the Cardinals, given that he has a home in Arizona. However, it would be surprising to see him part ways with the only team he’s ever played for in the NFL.

Suggs, 36, is a former first-round pick of the Ravens back in 2003. He played out the final year of his five-year, $28.5 million contract that included $16 million guaranteed and made a base salary of $6.5 million for the 2018 season.

Suggs is an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2018, Suggs appeared in 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 34 tackles, seven sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery returned for a touchdown and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 40 edge rusher out of 107 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
