Ravens LB Terrell Suggs will miss the first six games this season as the Ravens placed him on the physically-unable-to-perform list today, per Cindy Boren.
Suggs will be eligible to come off the PUP list on October 21. The linebacker can then practice up to three weeks before the Ravens must make a decision on whether to activate him, place him on the injured-reserve list or waive him, which is obviously a very unlikely scenario.
Suggs, who partially tore his Achilles’ tendon, expects to make a return to the field this season. It’s been roughly 3 months since Suggs had surgery to repair his Achilles’ tendon. Suggs expects himself to come back some time during November.
