Texans Place LB Dayon Pratt On Injured Reserve

The Houston Texans officially placed LB Dayon Pratt on injured reserve after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

Pratt, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.

Pratt was waived with an injury designation on Friday.

During his college career at East Carolina, Pratt recorded 101 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, a recovery and four pass defenses.
