The Houston Texans officially placed LB Duke Ejiofor on injured reserve Friday.
This move was expected after Ejiofor suffered a torn ACL at the end of practice last week.
Ejiofor, 25, was drafted by the Texans in the sixth round out of Wake Forest in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year deal worth $2.6 million.
Ejiofor was placed on injured reserve last year after he suffered a torn Achilles and missed the entire 2019 season.
In 2018, Ejiofor appeared in 12 games for the Texans and recorded eight total tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, and two pass defenses.
