Texans Sign DB Cornell Armstrong To Practice Squad

The Houston Texans officially signed DB Cornell Armstrong to their practice squad on Thursday.

Armstrong, 22, was selected by the Dolphins in the sixth round in 2018 out of Southern Mississippi. He signed a four-year, $2,578,408 contract that includes a $118,408 signing bonus.

Armstrong was waived by the Dolphins during final roster cuts this year. The Texans signed him to a contract soon after before waiving him in recent days. 

In 2018, Armstrong appeared in 15 games for the Dolphins and recorded eight total tackles.
