Texans Sign Four Players Including OT Breno Giacomini, Cut Four

The Houston Texans announced that they’ve signed four players including OT Breno Giacomini. The other players signed include CB Bryce Jones, RB Dare Ogunbowale, and WR Chris Thompson.

The Texans also waived OT Dimitric Camiel, RB Kenny Hillard, WR Tevin Jones and S T.J. Mutcherson.

Giacomini, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2008. He was signed off of the Packers’ practice squad in 2010 by the Seahawks and spent four years in Seattle before joining the Jets as an unrestricted free agent in 2014.

Giacomini was entering final year of his four-year, $18 million contract when the Jets cut him loose back in February.

In 2016, Giacomini was limited to appear in just five games for the Jets and later finished out the year on injured reserve with a back injury.
