Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Texans are signing S Shalom Luani to their practice squad on Wednesday.

- RB Karon Higdon Jr
- WR Chad Hansen
- T Elijah Nkansah
- OT Kyle Murphy
- QB Alex McGough
- DB Anthony Chesley
- DB Jonathan Owens
- LB Nate Hall
- S Shalom Luani
Luani tried out for the team earlier in the day and it appears as though he was impressive enough to earn an offer from Houston.
Luani, 25, is a former seventh-round pick by the Raiders out of Washington State back in 2017. He was entering the second year of his four-year rookie contract when he was traded to the Seahawks coming out of preseason.
Seattle re-signed Luani as an exclusive rights free agent this past offseason only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason. He later caught on with the Chargers.
For his career, Luani has appeared in 31 games over three seasons and recorded 18 tackles and two pass defenses.
