The Houston Texans announced Friday that they’ve placed DE Johnny Dwight on waivers.

Dwight, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Texans.
During his college career at Alabama, Dwight recorded 16 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass defense over the course of nine games.
