Texans Waive LB Tyrell Adams From IR With Settlement

The Houston Texans officially waived LB Tyrell Adams from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.

Adams, 26, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia back in May of 2015. He had brief stints with the Chiefs, Raiders and Bills before signing a futures contract with the Colts this past February.

The Colts waived Adams with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and eventually cut him with an injury settlement soon after. The Texans signed him to their practice squad a few weeks ago and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

In 2018, Adams has appeared in three games for the Texans and recorded two tackles.
