Aaron Wilson reports the Texans also hosted LB Vosean Joseph, TE Pharoh Brown, QB Taryn Christion, DT Devaroe Lawrence and LB Justin Phillips for workouts.

Liuget, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Chargers back in 2011. He finished the fourth year of his six-year, $58.219 million contract that included $30.477 million guaranteed when the Chargers declined his option.

Liuget missed the first four games of the 2018 season, due to a suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy and was later placed on injured reserve.

After a brief stint with the Raiders, Liuget signed on with the Bills in November of last year and finished out the season in Buffalo.

For his career, Liuget has recorded 287 tackles, 25 sacks, five forced fumbles, six recoveries, a defensive touchdown and 20 passes defended over the course of nine seasons and 118 games.

We have him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
