Nick Scurfield from Texans.com reports via twitter that head coach Gary Kubiak expects WR Andre Johnson to return to Texans training camp on Monday.
Johnson, who has been absent 8 days from camp due to a groin injury, has had a heavy offseason having had knee surgery after nagging hamstring issues last season.
The Texans, who will be defending their first ever AFC South Championship this season, will take a steady approach to their star wide receiver and possibly hold him out of Saturday’s preseason opener vs Carolina.
