Texans WR Will Fuller announced via his Instagram account that he’s been suspended for six games for a PED violation.
It’s worth mentioning that there are just five regular season games left this season, so Fuller’s suspension will carry over into 2021 for one game.
Fuller was a popular name leading up to this year’s trade deadline with the Packers being the most interested team. However, Houston opted to hold onto him, despite the fact that he will be an unrestricted free agent next year.
Fuller, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $10.164 million contract and stood to make a base salary of $1.83 million for the 2019 season when the Texans exercised his fifth-year option last offseason.
The option is worth $10.1 million for the 2020 season. Fuller will be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
In 2020, Fuller has appeared in 11 games for the Texans and caught 53 passes for 879 yards receiving and eight touchdowns.
We have him included in our Top 50 – 2021 Free Agents list.
