The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve activated K Ryan Succop and TE Jonnu Smith from the active/PUP list after they passed physicals.
The Titans have had Austin Barnard handling the kicking opportunities in their first two preseason games while Succop was out.
Succop, 32, is a former seventh-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2009. He played five seasons in Kansas City before joining the Titans for the 2014 season.
Succop finished out his contract before agreeing to a five-year, $20 million contract with the Titans that includes $7.25 million guaranteed last year.
In 2018, Succop appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and converted 26 of 30 field goal attempts (86.7 percent) to go along with 28 of 31 extra point tries.
Smith, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in 2017. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.175 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $756,625 for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Smith appeared in 13 games for the Titans and caught 20 passes for 258 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
