Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that Cardinals free agent Sย Rashad Johnson isย traveling Friday for a visit with the Titans.
The Titans have said that they plan to consider signing a safety in free agency now that they’ve parted ways with veteran Michael Griffin.
Johnson, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2009. He has played all seven years in Arizona and is currently among the best available safeties in this year’s free agent class.
In 2015, Johnson appeared in 14 games and recorded 61 tackles, five interceptions, a fumble recovery and seven pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 50 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
