According to Field Yates, the Titans are placing CB Adoree’ Jackson on injured reserve and promoting CB Tye Smith to take his place on the active roster.
Jackson had already been declared out for tonight’s game against the Broncos but this move means he’ll miss at least two more games.

The Titans picked up Jackson’s fifth-year option this offseason.
In 2019, Jackson was limited to appeared in 11 games and recorded 45 total tackles, three tackles for loss, no interceptions, and six pass defenses.
Jackson also had 23 yards as a kickoff return specialist, to go along with 26 yards as a punt returner. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 8 overall cornerback out of 112 qualifying players.
