The Titans announced on Wednesday they have placed K Ryan Succop on injured reserve.
This is Succop’s second stint on IR this season, as he never appeared fully healthy after being designated to return earlier this year. Tennessee signed K Greg Joseph off of Carolina’s practice squad to kick for the final two games.
Tennessee also promoted LB Nigel Harris from the practice squad and signed WR Trevion Thompson to take his place.
Succop, 33, is a former seventh-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2009. He played five seasons in Kansas City before joining the Titans for the 2014 season.
Succop finished out his contract before agreeing to a five-year, $20 million contract with the Titans that includes $7.25 million guaranteed last year. He was placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason and designated as a player to return halfway through the year.
In 2019, Succop appeared in six games for the Titans and was 1-6 on field goal attempts (16.7 percent) and made 24-25 extra points.
