Titans Sign 10 Players To Futures Deals

The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve signed 10 players to futures contracts for the 2018 season.

The full list of futures signings includes:

  1. CB Jeremy Boykins
  2. WR Darius Jennings
  3. S Denzel Johnson
  4. OL Tyler Marz
  5. DE Johnny Maxey
  6. WR Zach Pascal
  7. TE Tim Semisch
  8. DE Julius Warmsley
  9. OL Cody Wichmann
  10. DL Antwaun Woods

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Warmsley, 27, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Houston before signing on to the Seahawks’ practice squad coming out of the preseason.

Warmsley returned to the Seahawks on a future/reserve contract in 2015 but was on and off of their practice squad for most of the season. The Dolphins eventually added him to their practice squad before re-signing him to a future’s deal last year. Unfortunately, the Dolphins waived him last October and later signed him to their practice squad.

Warmsley was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.

In 2016, Warmsley appeared in five games and recorded eight tackles and no sacks for the Dolphins.
