Titans Sign C Ben Jones To Extension

The Tennessee Titans announced Friday that they’ve agreed to a multi-year extension with C Ben Jones

  • According to Ian Rapoport, Jones’ contract will pay him $13.5 million in new money over two years.

Jones is the second notable center to sign an extension on Friday after the Raiders locked up Rodney Hudson to a record deal.

Jones, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Texans back in 2012. He played out the final year of his rookie contract before agreeing to a four-year, $17.5 million contract that included $7.5 million guaranteed with the Titans for the 2016 season.

Jones would have been an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

In 2018, Jones appeared in all 16 games for the Titans, starting all of them at center.
