The Tenessee Titans announced Friday that they’ve signedย CB Demontre Hurst and placed CB LeShaun Sims on injured reserve.
Hurst, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma back in 2013 before signing on with the Bears. Hurst was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseasonย but has been on and off of their practice squad the past three seasons.
Hurst was in the final year of his two-year, $1.110 million contractย when the Bears waived him coming out of the preseason.ย He was on and off of their active roster last season.
Hurts signed a one-year, $690,000 contract with the Titans this past April. However, he was released coming out of the preseason.
In 2016, Hurst appeared in 10 games for the Bears and recorded 14 tackles, one sack, an interception and two pass defenses.
