The Tennessee Titans announced that they have signed first-round pick OT Taylor Lewan to a four-year contract on Thursday.
The #Titans have agreed to terms on a contract with first-round pick Taylor Lewan.

Lewan was the last remaining player from the 2014 draft class to sign his rookie, which shouldnโt be surprising given that Chance Warmack โ Tennesseeโs 2013 first-round pick โ was also the last player to sign his rookie deal.
Lewanโs rookie contract is worth a projected $11,484,998 and includes a signing bonus of $6,672,728, according to OverTheCap.com.
Interestingly enough, John Clayton of ESPN mentioned last week that the presence of Lewan could make the incumbent LT Michael Roos โtrade baitโ for a team in need of a veteran tackle.
It is hard to criticize the Titans for selecting Lewan at pick No. 11 in the 2014 NFL Draft, as he was widely projected to be picked earlier. Still, the pick did raise some eyebrows, as Roos has performed very well at left tackle, and the Titans signed OT Michael Oher this offseason to a four-year, $20 million deal.
