Stephen Holder reports that the Titans have signed QB Alex Tanney off of the Colts’ practice squad on Monday.
The Titans reportedly lost QB Marcus Mariota for the season, so Tanney will give them some quarterback depth for the remainder of the season.
Tanney, 27, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth back in 2012. Since then, he’s had brief stints with the Cowboys, Browns and Buccaneers, Titans and Bills before joining the Colts a few months ago.
However, Tanney has yet to appear in an NFL game.
