Titans Sign S Kendrick Lewis, Waive Denzel Johnson

The Tennessee Titans announced Wednesday that they’ve signed veteran S Kendrick Lewis to a contract and placed S Denzel Johnson on waivers.

Lewis, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2010. After four seasons with the Chiefs and a year with the Texans, Lewis signed a three-year, $5.4 million contract with the Ravens that included a $1.4 million signing bonus.

Lewis was set to make a base salary of $1.8 million for the 2017 season when the Ravens released him last March and he wound up sitting out the entire season.

In 2016, Lewis appeared in six games for the Ravens and recorded six tackles and a forced fumble.
