Adam Schefter reports that the Titans are signing former Dolphins DE Cameron Wake to a three-year, $23 million deal that includes $10 million guaranteed.
Miami was reportedly expected to move on from Wake this offseason, so this does not come as a big surprise. (NFLTR)
Wake, 36, wound up going undrafted out of Penn State back in 2005. He signed on with the Giants but was released a few months later.
After two years in the CFL, the Dolphins signed him to a contract for the 2009 season. Wake played out the final year of his two-year, $19 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Wake appeared in 14 games and recorded 36 tackles, six sacks, a forced fumble and a pass defense.
We had him featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
