According to Dianna Russini, the Titans are signing Falcons LB Vic Beasley.
Ian Rapoport reports the deal is for one year and $9.5 million guaranteed, with a max value of $12 million.
Atlanta elected to let Beasley go this offseason and he’ll try to get his career back on track with Tennessee.
Beasley seemed to be on the verge of becoming one of the NFL’s breakout pass rushers when he led the NFL in sacks with 15.5 in 2016. However, he struggled in the following years, eventually being shopped by the Falcons at the trade deadline this past season.
Beasley, 27, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year, $14.5 million contract but the Falcons picked up his fifth-year option worth $14,200,000 for the 2019 season.
In 2019, Beasley appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 42 total tackles, 8 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses.
We have Beasley listed in our Top 100 2020 NFL Free Agents list.
