Titans Signing QB Austin Davis

Terry McCormick reports that the Titans are signing QB Austin Davis to their active roster on Monday.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota is dealing with a stinger, so they’re clearly looking to bolster their at the position in case he’s unable to return for Sunday’s game.

Davis, 29, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss back in 2012. He lasted just over a year with the Rams before signing on to the Dolphins’ practice squad at the start of the 2013 season.

After returning to the Rams for a few years, Davis bounced around with the Browns and Broncos before eventually signing on with the Seahawks in June of last year. The Seahawks brought Davis back in April before placing him on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.

Seattle released Davis from injured reserve with an injury settlement soon after and he signed on with the Titans in September but was released a month later.

In 2017, Davis appeared in three games for the Seahawks.
