Update:
The Tennessee Titans announced Thursday that they’ve officially signed WR Adam Humphries.
Reports from Wednesday mentioned that the Patriots increased their offer in an attempt to convince him to back out of his deal with the Titans. However, Humphries had no intention of doing so and opted to stick with his agreement with Tennessee.
Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo of NFL Media are reporting that the Titans are signing WR Adam Humphries.
Humphries reportedly receives a four-year, $36 million contract from the Titans.
Humphries, 25, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2015. He was on and off of the Bucs’ practice squad during his rookie season and returned to the Tampa Bay on a one-year restricted deal last year.
Humphries is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2018, Humphries appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and caught 76 passes for 816 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
We had him featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
