Titans Tried Out Five Players

The Tennessee Titans brought in five free agents for tryouts Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson.

The full list of players who tried out includes:

  1. DT Miles Brown
  2. DT P.J. Johnson
  3. K Sam Sloman
  4. K Giorgio Tavecchio
  5. P Austin Rehkow

Sloman, 23, was drafted in the seventh round by the Rams out of Miami (Ohio) in 2020. He signed a four-year, $3.37 million rookie deal that included a $75,492 signing bonus. However, the team opted to waive him at the end of October.

In 2020, Sloman has appeared in seven games for the Rams and made 8-11 field goal attempts (72.7 percent) to go with 18-21 extra point attempts (85.7 percent).

Brown, 23, signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Wofford following the 2019 NFL Draft. He was able to make the final roster coming out of the preseason but was eventually waived and signed to the practice squad.

Brown made his way back to the active roster in 2019, but during the 2020 season, the team opted to waive him.

In 2019, Brown appeared in nine games for the Cardinals and recorded four total tackles.
