Titans HC Mike Vrabel announced Wednesday that they’re bringing free agent DE Brooks Reed for a tryout this week.
“We haven’t seen Brooks in a while. We’ll look at him and see where he is,” Vrabel said, per Terry McCormick.
Reed, 33, is a former second-round pick of the Texans back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with Houston before agreeing to a five-year, $22.5 million contract that included $9 million guaranteed back in 2015 with the Falcons.
Reed was set to make a base salary of $4.5 million for the 2019 season when the Falcons released him and he quickly signed a contract with the Cardinals shortly after.
For his career, Reed has appeared in 129 tackles for the Texans, Falcons and Cardinals and recorded 275 tackles, 22.5 sacks, an interception, three forced fumbles, two recoveries and 11 passes defended.
We have him included in our Top 50 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
